Day of sun.

As someone else at my neighbors' block party this evening said, "I would never have guessed, when I got up this morning, that we would be able to eat outside."  Several days of rain gave way, this afternoon, to splendid sun and coolness, and I have realized once again how much autumn has crept up on me this year, as weeks have skimmed over and through me.
